Dr Rashi Kalra is a dedicated fertility specialist with a passion for helping individuals and couples achieve their dream of starting a family. She is among a select group of fertility sub-specialists in Australia to attain the prestigious CREI (Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility) post-graduate qualification.
Dr Kalra's expertise in infertility is backed by three additional years of advanced training in IVF in Australia, following her qualification as a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist from RANZCOG (Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists).
As the Co-Medical Director of Victoria’s first Public Fertility Service at the Royal Women's Hospital, Dr Kalra has implemented IVF services at the hospital and nine partner sites across Victoria. Her commitment to the field extends to training and supervising future fertility specialists, ensuring the highest standards of care for patients.
Dr Kalra is deeply involved in medical student teaching at the Royal Women's Hospital and serves as a subspecialist examiner for the CREI qualification with RANZCOG. Her journey to becoming a renowned fertility specialist includes completing her medical degree at the University of Sydney in 2008, residency at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, and specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at the Royal Women's Hospital, Melbourne.
Further training at Melbourne IVF, The Women's Hospital, and King Edward Memorial Hospital, Perth, honed her skills and knowledge to attain her CREI.
Dr Kalra's areas of interest include miscarriage, endometriosis, PGD, and complex infertility cases. Patients appreciate her compassionate approach and dedication to providing personalised evidence-based care.
