Why Melbourne IVF?

Melbourne IVF offers couples a 33% greater chance of IVF success compared to the average of Australian and New Zealand clinics.

Melbourne IVF pregnancy rates are amongst the best in the world when compared to the average of Australian and New Zealand Clinics as collated by ANZARD*

*Melbourne IVF pregnancy rates since 1st June 2014 compared to the average of Australian and New Zealand Clinics as published in 2014 by the Australian & New Zealand Assisted Reproduction Database (ANZARD). ANZARD is the national database which collates the pregnancy rates for every clinic in Australia and New Zealand. Clinical pregnancy as defined by ANZARD.

What affects IVF success rates?

A fertility specialist can undertake an advanced fertility assessment for you and your partner to help assist in determining the cause of your pregnancy delay. After your assessment, they can help determine the best treatment plan for you and discuss your chances of success.

Your chance of IVF success will be influenced by:

  • your age and your partner’s age
  • how long you have been trying to conceive
  • whether either partner has already had a child or pregnancy
  • the quality of the eggs and sperm
  • lifestyle factors
  • genetic factors
  • if you have had any previous treatment for infertility

Should we see a fertility specialist?

At Melbourne IVF, we offer everything from simple non-invasive treatment options including ovulation cycle tracking, ovulation induction and insemination, through to the more advanced fertility treatments such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF) with preimplantation embryo screening (PGS).

If you haven't fallen pregnant and have been trying to conceive for twelve months or more without success (or six months if you are over 36) we recommend a fertility assessment with a Melbourne IVF fertility specialist.

To make an appointment with a Melbourne IVF fertility specialist please call our Community Liaison Administrators on 1800 111 483 or complete the online booking form.
