Melbourne IVF’s team of dedicated fertility counsellors are all members of the Australian & New Zealand Infertility Counsellors Association (ANZICA) and are approved Infertility Treatment Authority (ITA) counsellors with professional qualifications in psychology or social work.
Many patients are surprised by the emotional and physical impact of undergoing treatment. To assist, the counseling team are an important part of our service and are available to you before, during and after treatment, whether to listen or to offer advice on coping strategies.

Marianne is a qualified Social Worker and Family Therapist who has recently joined the Melbourne IVF Counselling team as manager.
Marianne brings with her 20 years experience working with individuals, couples and families particularly regarding anxiety, depression and trauma. Her previous role involved working primarily with men and this has given her a unique insight into the male experience of relationships, family issues, grief and trauma.
Marianne is excited to be working with such a dedicated team of professionals in supporting individuals and couples to feel as empowered as possible through such a special yet physically and emotionally challenging time.
